Dawson Oaks Trailer Park is planned to unlock on Steam on 17 September 2026. It is not out yet. The Steam store for app 3640200 still labels the title as not yet available. If a thumbnail, reseller, or random storefront says you can play tonight, they are ahead of the studio or selling something else.

The two dates you will see in old posts

On 14 August 2026 Striped Panda Studios published the “Hello Snitches!” announcement. That post set 10 September 2026 and $9.99 USD. Wishlist trackers and calendar apps still quote that first number. On 27 August 2026 the studio came back and moved the release to 17 September 2026. They said they had been working hard into launch, including adding an entirely new map, and wanted one extra week so the park felt polished. They admitted waiting sucks. They still asked people to show up on the 17th.

Use 17 September 2026 for alarms, Discord events, and friend schedules. Keep 10 September in your head only so you can decode old tweets.

Price, platform, and who made it

That $9.99 tag is a party-game price, not a live-service funnel. You are paying for a proximity-voice trailer park where eleven suspects commit secret urges, a public Supervisor hunts them, and a hidden Snitch wears a cover role. Wishlist reality, not hype

Independent Steam trackers put the wishlist somewhere in the tens of thousands, with community estimates around 17k. That is not a guaranteed first-week peak. It is enough to mean you should have a backup plan: a LAN evening if online queues stutter, a second friend host, and a PC that meets system requirements. Broadband is listed even for the minimum spec because voice is the product.

Mature content is already disclosed: crime, alcohol and drugs, mild cartoon violence, knockouts, and suggestive comedy. No explicit sex. Tell your lobby that before someone is surprised by a Junkie urge or a Creep bit.

What to do before 17 September

Day-of launch, not day-of fanfiction

On 17 September, buy from Steam if the store has unlocked. Install about 5 GB. Test voice in a private lobby before you invite twelve people. If the build is delayed again, we will update this article from official posts only. We will not mark the game as available because a streamer loaded a leftover playtest key. Closed tests are documented on playtest keys and they are not the launch.

The park opens when Steam says it opens. Until then, the correct sentence is still future tense.
