Roles in Dawson Oaks Trailer Park

A public cop, hidden informants, and eleven suspects who must commit crimes to stay sane.

Dawson Oaks Trailer Park is a proximity-voice social deduction game from Striped Panda Studios. The Steam Windows launch is set for 17 September 2026 at $9.99 after a one-week delay from 10 September so a new map could ship polished. This hub is the roster map: who is public, who is hidden, and which of the eleven suspects you might be pretending to be.

If you are new, pair this page with Getting Started and how to play. Role pages here explain identity. The guides explain cadence: when to crime, when to talk, and when to call a meeting.

The three teams

Every round splits the lobby into three jobs. Steam copy is blunt about the split. Suspects do crimes. The Supervisor hunts. A hidden Snitch betrays from inside the park.

The Supervisor is public. Playtests showed a visible Supervisor nametag, so nobody is guessing who the cop is. That person watches the lot, gathers intel, and calls the police. Power comes from information, not from a hidden knife. An arrest timer sits on the HUD, so a cop who panics still has a clock to beat.

The Snitch is hidden. Official screenshots showed the Snitch wearing a cover suspect role — one build labeled cover The Pyromaniac — plus a private line that reads ONLY VISIBLE TO YOU SNITCH. Snitch-only urges include sending a message to the Supervisor and observing players from a trailer, on top of whatever crimes the cover still demands. Closed playtests often seated two Snitches. Treat that count as a playtest observation, not a guaranteed live number.

Everyone else is a suspect. The eleven roles listed on Steam are Drug Dealer, Junkie, Moonshine Cook, Creep, Scrapper, Pyromaniac, Gambler, Thief, Drunk, Prankster, and Hobo. Suspects commit role-specific urges to stay sane. Wait too long and you get unstable and easier to expose. Do the crime too loudly and the public Supervisor, or a Snitch on the porch, will clock you.

What the HUD is telling you

Playtest HUDs showed SANITY, a Meeting timer, and an Arrest timer. If the Supervisor has line of sight on a crime, a banner can fire. You will also juggle $1 bills, plastic cans, joints, beer, and a flip phone. Trading is social on purpose: the Junkie has to buy weed, the Dealer has to sell it, and both of those conversations leak.

Read controls so the meters are not a surprise on launch night. The map page covers the Community Center, Piss Creek Saloon, and trailer interiors you will actually walk.

Meetings, votes, and community service

Suspects can call a meeting at any moment. The lobby gathers at the Community Center, pretends to be friendly, and votes on who they think the Snitch is. Vote wrong and the real Snitch stays hidden. Vote right and the suspects take control of the information war.

Playtests sent a voted-out player to community service. After that they could speak only in the Piss Creek Saloon bar. That is a huge tell: a quiet person who suddenly lives at the bar is not roleplaying a Drunk. They already lost a vote. Keep that in mind when you write a how not to get caught plan.

How to use these pages

New lobbies should also open the lobby checklist. Track the release date so you do not show up a week early. Official store and social links sit on the links hub. There are no public promo codes yet; the codes hub records that.

Pre-launch caveat

Closed playtests are not the 17 September build. Role counts, maps, and HUD copy can still move. This wiki records what Steam copy, official screenshots, and playtest videos actually showed. We do not invent extra superpowers for Thief or Hobo just to fill a table.

If you are filling a first lobby before 17 September, assign one person to read the Supervisor page out loud while the rest skim the suspect roster. The park is funnier when everyone already knows the public nametag is not a mystery and the hidden Snitch is.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about roles, meetings, and the Steam launch.

How many roles are in Dawson Oaks Trailer Park?

Steam lists a public Supervisor, a hidden Snitch who blends in as a cover suspect, and eleven named suspects. Playtests often ran two Snitches; that is a playtest observation, not a locked launch number.

Is the Supervisor a secret role?

No. The Supervisor is public. Playtests showed a visible nametag. Power comes from watching, collecting intel, and calling police before the arrest timer expires. See the Supervisor page.

What happens if you get voted out?

Meetings happen at the Community Center. Playtests sent voted-out players to community service, after which they could speak only in the Piss Creek Saloon bar.

Should I learn roles before 17 September 2026?

Yes. The game is still upcoming, not released. Skim this hub, then the suspect roster and the tier list so launch night is not your first look at the eleven names.
