Dawson Oaks Trailer Park is still an upcoming Steam release. This hub is a date board, not a fake patch log. Striped Panda Studios has published two official news posts that matter for anyone planning a first lobby, and both of them are about when the park opens, not about a live balance patch.

Timeline you can trust

• 14 August 2026 — Steam news titled along the lines of “Dawson Oaks Trailer Park Releases on September 10!” opened with Hello Snitches! The studio thanked playtesters, set 10 September 2026 as the date, and locked the launch price at $9.99 USD. They asked for wishlists and pointed people at Discord.
• 27 August 2026 — A follow-up post, “Dawson Oaks Trailer Park Now Releases September 17!”, moved the date. The reason was not a vague “we need more time.” They said they had added an entirely new map and wanted one extra week of polish. The new target is 17 September 2026.
• 17 September 2026 — Planned Steam unlock for Windows. The store still says the game is not yet available. Do not write day-one patch notes until they exist.

That is the whole public changelog so far. There are no numbered patches, no stealth hotfix list, and no secret console SKU. If a social post claims an August Steam unlock, it is wrong.

Why the delay matters in the park

A new map is not a store-page footnote for this design. Dawson Oaks is a proximity-voice social deduction game. Sightlines, trailer porches, the Community Center, Piss Creek Saloon, and the night lots all change how loud a crime feels. Extra polish on a new layout is the difference between a fair first week and a week of players getting lost while the Supervisor watches them spin. The lobby checklist already assumes you will learn landmarks before you scream a task name.

Use the extra days. Confirm system requirements. Walk how to play and Getting Started. Assign who reads the Supervisor page. Check the tier list only as a conversation starter, not as gospel from an unreleased meta.

What this hub will become after launch

After 17 September 2026 we will add one child page per real Steam news post: balance, map tweaks, role changes, and known issues. We will not invent patch numbers to look busy. If the studio is quiet, this hub stays a timeline plus two children. Quiet is honest.

Until then, treat Discord and the Steam news hub as primary. This wiki paraphrases; it does not replace the official links. If you still have a calendar invite for 10 September, move it. If you bought a key from a stranger because they said the game was already live, read the codes hub and assume you were scammed.

Community estimates put the Steam wishlist in the tens of thousands (around 17k on tracker sites). That is enough for messy first-week servers and enough reason to have LAN as a fallback. Online PvP, LAN PvP, online co-op, and LAN co-op are all listed on the store. The date slip does not remove those modes; it just moves the night you actually press Start.
